Nathan Blice is a proud native of Copley and the picturesque Northeast Ohio region. A graduate of the University of Akron in 1994, he began his career in 1995, marking the beginning of a distinguished career in the field.

 

Nathan possesses extensive expertise across many facets of his profession and is deeply passionate about helping clients understand their unique tax and accounting "story." He excels at guiding clients through the complexities of their financial information—whether it's data they already have, wish they had, or didn't realize they needed—empowering them to make well-informed and strategic decisions. 

 

Nathan brings over 25 years of experience as a partner in a prominent local CPA firm with offices in both the Akron and Canton areas. Since joining Shields Blice and Company CPAs in 1995—which includes Certified Payroll Services Inc. and Alliance Financial Services Inc—Nathan has honed his expertise in managing the complexities of a bustling multi-office firm with more than 25 employees. Now transitioning to a solo practice, he leverages his extensive knowledge and well-rounded experience to provide clients with personalized service. Known for his personable, calm, and approachable demeanor, Nathan excels at building strong, lasting client relationships.

 

Nathan is married and the proud father of four wonderful children. As an outdoor enthusiast, avid cyclist, and hiker, he chose to establish his solo practice in the Merriman Valley—a location that reflects his passion for nature and proximity to the National Park. When he's not assisting clients, you can often find him enjoying the outdoors and might even catch a glimpse of him commuting to the office along the scenic Sand Run Parkway.
